The Writing and Communications Center (WCC) at Stevens is a free, on-campus resource for all SIT students, faculty and staff. The WCC provides professional assistance with and feedback on all communications-related projects from written documents to oral presentations (e.g., general essays, dissertations, resumes, PowerPoint slides, interview skills, thesis defense). Please use the navigation pane to the left to access the online resources of the WCC.
What we offer:
- Free and professional help for all written and/or presentation projects
- Communications support for all SIT students: Undergrads to PhD Candidates
- A comfortable location for students to work individually or as part of a group
We can help you to:
- Write effective and well-organized papers for any Stevens course in any semester
- Create high-quality and engaging presentations and slides for any audience
- Develop and revise all written documents (essays, term papers, publication articles, etc)
- Generate bibliographies and correctly cite sources
- Draft exceptional resumes and hone interview skills
- Build vocabulary and practice enunciation/pronunciation skills
- Use MS PowerPoint and MS Word at all levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced)
- Answer all questions about grammar, punctuation, organization and style
