Philosophy Club

Welcome to the Stevens Philosophy Club:
We are a collection of individuals who find joy in informal pursuits of knowledge and philosophical reflection.  This love of knowledge is the link that joins us despite our differences in cultural backgrounds, social classes, religious stances, and majors. As a collective of peers, we engage in discussions over contemporary films, books, art, as well as music while incorporating ideas brought up in traditional texts.  We aim to create an intellectually stimulating environment while promoting student comaraderie and interaction, leaving enough room for self-expression and fun!

Fall 2007 events have included:  2 trips to Manhattan to view and discuss art and visit the city, 2 movie viewings with pizza and conversation, and one debate.
