A talk by Science Journalist Jessica Sachs. In her acclaimed recent book Good Germs, Bad Germs, award-winning science journalist Jessica Snyder Sachs explores science's emerging understanding of the symbiotic relationship between the human body and its resident microbes--which outnumber human cells by a factor of nine to one. In this talk, she will explore how antibiotics can be designed and used more wisely, and how antibacterial drugs and cleansers can be replaced with bacterial ones custom-designed for maximum health benefits.
