Prof. David Musial recently co-produced a Ballad in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King

Prof. David Musial recently co-produced a Ballad in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King titled "I Have A Real Dream". Musial wrote the lyrics and his associate Steve Clark from Germany wrote the melody and hired the Prague Symphonic Orchestra to record the music.  Music arranged for seven of the artists from his Smart Trax Media company to perform the vocals.  David produced and engineered a total of 192 vocal tracks with off of the singers delivering lead as well as harmony vocals.  Musial travelled to Prince Edward Island one weekend in October to record the newest artist signed to his One World Artists Management company and the mission was honored with a feature article in the "Guardian News" for the Charlottetown area of the Province.

In January the song started to air on CBC Radio and Musial was interviewed via cel phone when he was in Los Angeles 2 weeks ago for a Music Convention by a reporter from CBC TV in Canada.  The music video and an interview will air on their evening news soon.  Here is a link for the Music Video Musial produced and directed...

A live performance with an Orchestra has been offered for Dr. Martin Luther King Day in 2009 at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire. (More details to follow.)

This song is one of over 30 from his Smart Trax project which is going to commercial distribution in the Spring.  Many of our students since 1993, have observed this project grow, and have even been present at his SkyRoom Studio complex to learn the art of contemporary music production.

Prof. Andy Brick Orchestrates Halo for the Seattle Symphony

Prof. Andy Brick Orchestrates Halo for the Seattle Symphony

Prof. Andy Brick is pleased to announce the completion of work on his concert orchestration of music from the blockbuster video game series Halo 1,2 and 3. Prof. Brick worked with famed Halo composer Marty O'Donnell to create this dynamic score. The score, which included professor Brick's premier orchestration of music from Halo 3 received its debut performances with the Fort Worth and Seattle Symphonies.

From Wikipedia...

"[Halo] has been praised as being among the best and most influential first-person shooters on a game console, with Halo being the Microsoft Xbox's "killer app". This has led to the term "Halo killer" being used to describe console games that aspire to be better than Halo.[3] Halo's sequel, Halo 2, broke sales records for a media release,[4] and Halo 3 sold more than US $170 million worth of copies in the first 24 hours of release, breaking the record of Halo 2.[5] As of October 4, 2007, all three Halo games combined have sold more than 20 million copies.[6] The franchise has expanded to include five novels, several graphic novels, and numerous other licensed products, from action figures to Mountain Dew. The cultural impact of the Halo series has been compared to that of the Star Wars franchise,[7] with those who enjoy the series being dubbed the "Halo Nation".[8][9] "
