Research & Education
Research
I am a practicing artist with over 30 years of experience. I paint, photograph and create large-scale public installation projects. I have taught drawing, painting and color theory in several academic appointments, including Stevens Institute of Technology, Princeton University and Parsons School of Design. My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally.  I have recieved several  distinguished awards for my work, as an artist and as a teacher. Lastly, I founded and direct the arts and science program Mount Desert Symposium inthe Arts' LandEscapes.
