C2GS: Our Proud History

About C2GS

The Computer and Console Gaming Society was started by King Arthur when, after a near-death experience, he realized that the round table was the perfect place to play Settlers of Catan. We continue this tradition today in Babbio 122 every Thursday from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m. (or later, depending on when we feel like going to sleep). Come whenever you want and hang out! Refreshments are available every week. We have an enormous array of consoles, access to practically every computer game created and are amassing a collection of board and card games. This past year we built a fully functioning arcade cabinet that is now located in the Jacobus Lounge. In addition, members have started various Pen-and-Paper Role-Playing Games. We used to list all of the games that people play in these blurbs, but it would take several pages now. Point being, if you want to play any console, computer, board, card, or role-playing game, or if you just want to hang out with like-minded people, this is the place to be. In addition to our weekly meetings we have a larger weekend LAN once a month. These start at 9 p.m. on Saturday and last all night, with people staying up until 7 the next morning. We host tournaments, order enormous amounts of pizza, and make a plethora of bad jokes.
