The degree of Doctor of Philosophy is offered in students’ home disciplines indicating the Biomaterials Concentration. Stevens’ academic policy governing the awarding of advanced graduate degrees apply. To qualify for the Biomaterials concentration, in addition to satisfying disciplinary core requirements, candidates must also complete three additional core courses, select electives in the Biomaterials curriculum, attend the Biomaterials seminars (currently a subset within the Nanotechnology Seminar Series), and must successfully execute a doctoral dissertation in a Biomaterials-relevant research field.
This program is currently under review for approval by the Stevens Graduate Curriculum Committee.
