Event location feedback

A few points from never being on campus before.

- Signs other than just being on the door for the main buildings. I had no idea where the viewing rooms where. And we found it asking students attending the con and they pointed to the building and went in the "wrong" direction because the door wasn't shut right.

- Dealer/artist room. How about reversing the flow. Like walking up the stairs to get to the area. With a sign pointing to the other enterence for restricted access con-goers. Having to walk around a building to find a door wasn't too obvious.

- Prop the doors open for Panels (unless its against firecode). Its a little more inviting.

The campus was very confusing! I had to go to Walker to check in *art table* and we had to ask a random student. You need signs everywhere that say 'Con this way!'
Please make sure to stop by the August Rose table in the AA!

I agree. It was very confusing for me as well.
We were so lost for a little while.
Luckily me and Queen-chan found a con staffer to show us the way >.>

Yeah, it generally takes our freshmen over a month to figure how to get around. (It's a 5 block campus! It's insane.) And it was lucky that none of the buildings that the con used have entrances on multiple floors. We'll definitely do a better job of arrows and signs next year.
And for parking... well, alas, that's Hoboken: 30,000 people, 1 square mile. The local politics almost revolve around parking.

Thank you all very much for the feedback!

We are working on consolidating the floor plan and definitely getting better signage both outside, and in the program guide.

The idea about propping the doors up is great! We'll try to get some props so the panelists can have the option of having the door open (depending on the noise levels, they may want to have the doors closed).

Please continue to post feedback to help make CPAC09 better!
