Ian Rubin
Comedian, Actor, Sexy hunk of a man. From New Jersey, Ian Rubin has spent many years of his
life performing for audiences all around the Tri-State area. His stand-up focuses on important
questions such as: Why did he ever dress as Spike from My Little Pony? Who allowed Steven Moffat
to give Ian "feels"? And for the love of everything, why doesn't anyone believe he is Batman? (
IT'S TRUE!) After realizing the amazing culture of convention audiences/performers, Ian
is making his away around the east coast, entertaining crowds of geeks, and expressing that
"It's okay to be a nerd... Even when it doesn't make sense!" This will be Ian's debut
at Castle Point Anime Convention and he hopes that people might be generous to come see him!
HE'S ALSO MADE OF CHOCOLATE*

is YouTube's first and only Improv Comedy show where all of the scene suggestions come from YOU! (See what we did there?)
Ian Rubin and Oksana Varshavsky have been touring conventions all around the east-coast performing live Improv
with a mission to prove that EVERYONE is a nerd. Yes, everyone. You, you're mother, that person who forgot
to give you sweet and sour sauce at McDonalds, EVERYONE! The best way to prove this is by getting people
laughing. At a UProv's Improv Comedy show, all scenes come from suggestions from the audience. So if you want
Cowboy Bebop, you got it. Need some hot Doctor Who action? Boom. It's there. A song about Homestuck? ...Well,
Ian and Oksana will try. UProv will even get you on stage! (I mean, if you want. We're not THAT kind of show.)
