Castle Point Pokemon League

Calling all Pokemon Trainers! Do you think you've got what it takes to be best? Are you ready to take up the mantle of Pokemon Master? Then it's time to show us what you've got in the Castle Point Pokémon League! CPAC is generously playing host to this year's league competition. If you wish to gain entry, you'll have to test your might against some of the best gym leaders and scientists from the world over! You'd best be ready; they've gathered here to find the next potential champions and won't be pulling any punches.

Overview

Grab your badge booklet and check out the CPPL Primer in the morning. You'll be introduced to some of your opponents, run through the rules, and get a head start on earning badges. Then, you'll take to the convention floors, searching for the rest of the gym leaders and professors and filling out your booklet. Once you've earned eight gym badges and one professor's seal of approval, bring your booklet to the infodesk to be entered into the league tournament. It's there that we'll be able to crown this year's champion!


Rules

  • A legitimate copy of Pokémon Black or White is required. Battles will be conducted over IR.
  • All Pokémon will be auto leveled up and/or down to 50.
  • Battles will range from 3v3 to 6v6 and may entail Double, Triple, or Rotation mechanics.
  • Species Clause, you're unable to run more than one of the same Pokémon on your team.
  • Sleep Clause, it is illegal to set more than one of your opponent's Pokémon to sleep at any given time. This does not count towards Pokémon under the effects of rest.
  • Evasion Clause, it is illegal to run moves that increase evasion, such as Double Team and Minimize. Abilities that raise evasion are still legal.
  • OHKO Clause, it is illegal to run moves that instantly KO the target regardless of stats, such as Fissure and Sheer Cold.
