We are proud to welcome Leah Loscutoff, Archivist and Special Collections Librarian at the Samuel C. Williams Library, as our guest speaker. Leah will speak about her efforts to preserve the Library’s Special Collections and archives, which include the Stevens family papers, institutional archives of Stevens Institute of Technology, artifacts documenting Hoboken history, and the Lieb Memorial Leonardo da Vinci collection.
Leah previously worked at the Brooklyn Historical Society, where she served as the Digitization Archivist and Project Education Coordinator, and where she supervised the creation of the Brooklyn Visual Heritage website, a collaboration of the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Public Library and the Pratt School of Information and Library Science. Prior to that, she managed the Woodlawn Cemetery archive for Columbia University, and also held archivist positions at the University of California, Irvine, and the National Park Service in San Francisco.
We look forward to seeing you and your guests.
