Dr. Bohdan “Bo” Oppenheim, M.Eng. ’73, was the speaker at the SSE Invited Talk, “Lean Enablers for Systems Engineering,” hosted on campus by the School of Systems and Enterprises in mid-February. Dr. Oppenheim is the founder and co-chair of the Lean Systems Engineering Working Group of INCOSE (International Council on Systems Engineering), and a leader of the development effort of Lean Enablers for Systems Engineers. He is also a professor of Mechanical and Systems Engineering and graduate director of Mechanical Engineering at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles. He is the 2010 winner of the INCOSE Best Product Award.
