Research is an essential part of your education, taking the lessons from the classroom and applying them to real-world situations. Conducting research challenges you to devise working solutions to problems that professionals in your field face every day. Recent Headline: Senior Kate Fried and her teammates - Esther Rodriguez, Megan Calderia, and Rachel Ostroff - won first place in the International ISPE student design contest held in Las Vegas from November, and are now in the process of completing a provisional patent filing on her project, a technology to visualize breast cancer more accurately and in 3-D.
