Capitalizing on the momentum of The Future. Ours to Create. — and under the sustained leadership of President Nariman Farvardin — the University will continue its ascent to become a national and global leader in technology-centric education and research through a commitment to being Inspired by Humanity, Powered by Technology™. President Farvardin will draw upon a set of lessons in leadership, developed throughout his 27-year career in the dynamic higher education sector, to achieve Stevens' even more ambitious goals for the future.

With a continued focus on enhancing our students’ experience and success, amplifying our impact through research and innovation, elevating our academic reputation and strengthening and connecting our community, Stevens is on a course to — quite literally — change the world.

President Nariman Farvardin shares some of his foundational leadership lessons.

2017-2022 Strategic Plan

Stevens’ progress during the last decade has been nothing short of transformational. Within this period of great instability, Stevens achieved a remarkable number of accomplishments, including upgrades in our physical and IT infrastructure, the successful completion of Stevens’ $200 million capital campaign, achieving AASCSB accreditation of the School of Business and in the rising stature and recognition of the university. Together, these accomplishments provide a strong foundation upon which to build the future.
